In the first session (17 April 6:30-7:30pm) she will conduct an Introduction and help us with a quick comparison to identify notable differences. We will then dive in deeper with an orientation and exploration of Achievement Standards, Content Descriptors and Examples of Knowledge and Skills. Deb will help us to understand how to map our current assessment tasks against v9 Achievement Standards. Before the second session participants are encouraged to map all of their current assessment tasks against v9 (templates provided).

In the second session (1 May 6:30-7:30pm) we will reflect on changes that are needed and begin the very important before phase of moderation. This will inform changes we need to make in order to align with v9 as well as sharing ideas with our colleagues. Deb will lead a discussion around the place of checklists and monitoring tasks and we will all work together to find strategies and solutions for hurdles we may encounter.
