About Cathy Cheel
Cathy Cheel has taught for 40 years – in the classroom, in her own music school, and as a music specialist. Her love of music started as a child and she performed in musicals in her early years, producing and directing later on. Cathy is passionate about Kodaly and studied at UQ under Judith Johnson. She is particularly passionate about singing in, and conducting choirs, and counts herself blessed to be making a difference in the lives of little people every day. Cathy currently teaches at Northside Christian College and Grand Avenue State School and she enjoys serving on the Qld Kodaly Committee, striving to challenge herself and provide opportunities for others to flourish as music educators.
