Chris Andrews graduated in music from the University of Cardiff, Wales, in 2008. He returned to complete a Master’s degree in piano performance, graduating with first-class honours in 2010.
As a pianist, he performed with orchestras and choirs around the capital including Cardiff Symphony Chorus and Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra. After completing a PGCE at the University of Buckingham, he was appointed Director of Performing Arts at St. John’s-on-the-Hill School in Chepstow (now Dean Close), running the department for six years. Chris now lives in Surrey, England and is a passionate advocate and practitioner of Kodály-inspired learning.
He works as Director of Music at Feltonfleet Preparatory School, leading a Kodály-inspired curriculum for 500 children, ages 3 to 13. Chris also works with the British Kodály Academy and National Youth Choirs of Scotland, teaching at Summer Schools and running termly musicianship classes.
